1/10/2017 – Hi...what are the embroider buddy and Cuddles made of? Can you sublimate on the elephant's ears or Buddy's tummy? (Had to . . .
Response From Enmart: Both the Embroider Buddy and Cubbies "skins" are made from a polyester faux fur material. Both EBs and Cubbies can therefore be sublimated, as long as the material is light enough in color to show the design, of course. And you have to have a heat press platen small enough to fit the animal over it. One tip to make it easier to work with is to remove both the body and head stuffing pods (the head pod may not be removable on all animals).
The faux fur is longer on the EBs than the Cubbies though, and that will make the design look slightly rougher and more prone to showing marks from the heat press on the EBs.
As far as sublimating the ears of the Dumbles, yes, you can do that too, but the ears are padded and relatively thick, so to avoid smushing them flat in the press you'd want to use light pressure - just enough pressure to sublimate and no more.
7/15/2016 – Does the blanket have a hidden zipper so the embroidery doesn't show to the other side?
Response From Enmart: No, the back of the embroidery will show on the back side. There are two layers, but they are sewn together without a zipper.
10/7/2015 – I would like to know if a 4 x 4 inch hoop can be used to embroider the baby cubbies? Can you tell me the size of the belly . . .
Response From Enmart: A 4 x 4 hoop is recommended. That should handle the area to be embroidered nicely.
