Badgemaster Water Soluble Embroidery Film has many applications. It may be used as a topping for for difficult, stretchy, or mesh/net fabrics or used alone without fabric to create amazing works of art.
Tips & Tricks
- Stitching through film is not the same as stitching through fabric, so start by checking and possibly adjusting your tension settings.
- A single layer is ideal for basic design or when used as a topping. Use 2-3 layers for heavier weight designs.
- Always cut away excess stabilizer around designs, do not tear.
- To completely remove all product from your design, soak in warm-hot water for about an hour, then rinse.
- When creating freestanding lace (FSL), make sure to use designs specificly digitized for that purpose or design may fall apart after dissolving stabilizer away.
- Make sure to store unused product in a sealed bag or container and at room temperature. This is a water soluble product so it is sensitive to moisture. Storing at very low temperature or low humidity can cause product to become brittle.
