The one
thing that any garment decorator will tell you is learning one discipline
almost always leads to wanting to, if not actually, learning another. When EnMart began, we started with what we
knew, machine embroidery. Our parent
company had been in the industry, at that time, for over 30 years. We
knew thread and stabilizer, the issues machines can have and what it takes to create
great embroidery. So we assembled a
product list, created a website and EnMart was born.
Over
time, we realized our other strength was sublimation. We had staff that had been working with
inkjet sublimation practically since that was a thing. We
knew printer clogs, blowouts and gassing.
We’d tested papers and blanks. What we learned and knew would, we figured, be
useful to others, so we added sublimation to the mix.
Blank
patches showed up early since they’re really the bread and butter of our parent
company. Because they’re so versatile
and lend themselves to so many decoration techniques, blank patches are the
perfect decoration solution. Want to add
embroidery to a backpack? Add a blank
patch. Want to sublimate on a
non-polyester jacket-back? Sublimate a
fabric sheet and heat seal it to the jacket.
As time
went on, and our thread supplier made more thread options available to us, we
added quilting and crafting threads and supplies as well. Our most recent addition has been heat
transfer vinyl. As we discover new
decoration options and how they work with what we already carry, our catalog of
products continues to expand.
Our goal
has always been to become a one stop shop for decorators, the place where you
can pick up supplies for all your jobs and projects. With four locations
in the United States, EnMart also offers low cost Ground shipping within a one
or two day radius for most of the United States.
