2/28/2020 – Can one use Illustrator files to print shirts. Does one need AccuRIP software?
Response From Enmart: Yes, you can use Illustrator, Corel Draw, or even the Sawgrass Creative Studio program which is online and accessible for free with purchase. Any program can be used as long as you can turn off color management, since that is handled by the Virtuoso Print Manager, which is included as well. No RIP is necessary at all, and printing is almost as simple as just printing a page to a regular printer.
1/24/2020 – How long do you sublimate the for?
Response From Enmart: Unfortunately, the previous information you received was inaccurate. These are the correct settings for this product. If you are using a mug press, you should be sublimating at 380-400 degrees F for approximately 4 minutes (240 seconds). The amount of time may also vary up to a half minute either way depending on your mug press, but 4 minutes and 400F is what we use in a Knight DK3 mug press. Use medium to heavy pressure, with the pressure towards the heavy side if you are doing a full top to bottom print all the way to the edge. Some sites also recommend cooling the mugs in water. We have never recommended this as it creates micro-cracks in the glazing that can reduce the life of the mug by causing it to break sooner or later. We recommend removing the paper carefully first, then sitting it on an aluminum cooling plate for quicker results, or simply set to the side on something heat resistant to just cool naturally. The mug will thank you, and it will last a lot longer for your customer. Please let us know if you have more questions.
5/18/2018 – How long does it take from placing the order to receiving the mugs. I live in New York. Thanks
Response From Enmart: We have a facility in New Jersey and we stock mugs there. So you could have your mugs the next day if the order is placed before 2 p.m.
8/31/2016 – Is there anything written or stamped on the bottom of the 11oz white ceramic mug?
Response From Enmart: There a clear sticker on the bottom that says "Cactus Coatings Made in China" - but that could be removed. There is nothing actually printed on the mug.
